I bought this TV as a gift for my son but have been using it as he's still away. Without doubt this is the absolute best picture quality I've ever seen. Watching sports is fantastic - you feel as though you're almost on the pitch with such a clear definition. My only regret is not getting it for myself but alas, will have to save again..... Ann
By far the best picture I have ever seen although the smart capability is very frustrating to use. It continually updates and is very slow. Surfing the web is not practical. david
I replaced a 50" HD Pioneer Plasma with an analogue tuner and this TV leaves the old TV for dead.
It connected effortlessly to my wireless network once I had put in the key.
The Smart TV function is good but the chip is quite slow. Surely for a few bucks a much faster chip could have been used.
It couldn't find my Itunes folder but other music files played well and sounded OK.
The remote took a bit of getting used to but works well. It would be better if you didn't have to aim it directly at the bottom middle of the screen.
The sound is OK but I am looking forward to getting a Samsung sound bar HW D570 which is not available in Australia and so had to be purchased in the UK. It is taking quite a while to be delivered.
I am sure there will be even more improvements yet in TV technology but I am very happy with this TV Brent
Great TV, great Colour, the 2D to 3D good as long as source is good quality, remote great idea double sided, great being able to get apps on a TV, the only thing Samsung can improve on is making surfing the net with a proper key board then we are cooking! My wife watched "gone with the Wind" on 90(gem) unbelievable colour / clarity like as if the movie was on just released. Going to watch Wizard of Oz tonite and can not wait to see how good that's going to look. With the Samsung sound system HT-D6750W it's awesome. Like "SAA" on the 18/11/11 said you would not just by it for the internet experience you need patience a computer is quicker but otherwise great TV & the Brown Box has the best price Delivered which is even better. SmartHub needs some Work but useable.
Guide and Recording Features also need some work but are OK.
3D feature not being used so can't comment.
All in all the TV looks great and for everyday TV and DVD's is more than capable, Low power consumption and lots of other features all add up to this being a great purchase. Duncan
overall this tv is good I don't know all the functions of the remote control yet but I would prefer to be able to see what channel is playing and the program when you are changing the channel so you want have to find it through the Guide. some time the remote control doesn't work so I have to switch the TV on and off to make it work

As a viewing experience, this TV is fantastic. But for the other surround features like recording TV, Live TV and internet - the user experience is very very poor.
This TV replaced an all-in-one LG that is 5 years old, and its only superiority is power consumption, display quality and the fact that you can connect wirelessly to BigPond movies to stream movies.
I woulod buy this TV again if given the opportunity, but the clumsy interaction with playing and deleting recordings and other functions really annoys me and makes me wonder how dumb the people were who designed it.
Also - the remote sensor is at the bottom of the tv and is far too sensitive to angle, so if you are standing up with the remote you have to lower your arm like a gorilla and point it at the tv. Stupid for a premium tv. SAA
I'm genuinely suprised by this tv. We've gone from a Philips Pixel plus CRT HD tv to this one and I'm suprised that the picture is as good as it is. Some of our older dvds look pretty crummy, and the tv deserves a blu-ray player, but for us, the majority of our viewing is ABC1 or ABC2 and the picture is great.
Good wi-fi connection too.. whatever the processor is in this, it's pretty good. The only criticism I have on this tv is that when looking at the guide, it gives a preview box of the last channel you were watching, and it takes a while to scroll through the electronic program guide as the preview screen refreshes itself.

The future in television is hear This tv does it all .I have had friends that have sat speechless for ten minutes watching regular television and then I used the 2D to3D convertion and another 10 minutes of silence fell in the room.The 3D effect works great with the stock glasses don,t bother to upgrade to the rechargablesThe control may be a bit advanced for the elderly but the young ones will catch on in no time.Do your self a favour and match it up with the samsung 3D 500GB hd player and your on your way for some great entertainment .Wish I had found this web site I could have saved $300 Steve
