The remote itself is quite good, sturdy, well thought out. Unfortunately it's only use is for web browsing on the TV, which is pretty useless, I knew this when I purchased the remote but I figured it would be good for the other apps that require you to type in search terms or email addresses etc, unfortunately almost none of the apps, besides the web browser, acknowledge this remote so you cannot actually use the QWERTY side,. This makes it pretty pointless and not the best investment I've made. I am very happy with the tv I purchased from big brown box with it.

I found the Querty remote OK to use for the internet. Like anything new its abit difficult to get used to, but after a while you get to understand how it works. I found the internet slow on the samsung smart TV. I would rather just go on my PC/Tablet to browse whist watching TV as it is faster. The remote does make it easier to type on the TV. I found that with youtube, if you use the app you will have to use the on screen keyboard using cursors which is quite slow. When you go on the youtube website you can type on the remote which is allot easier. You can also use the remote to type in comments on facebook. The concept of the Querty remote is good, but unfortunately when you are used to using a PC or Tablet its abit disappointing. Be aware this is the first generation querty remote, and also the internet on the smart Tv is also fairly new concept, so don't expect the user friendliness and speed of a PC.
