Really happy with the TV. My one gripe would be the tv remote signal bounces off the coffee table so although I am directly in front of the tv I have to raise the remote to shoulder height to change channels.

Both picture & sound quality are good, web browser & the apps are slow, easy to set up, internet connectivity is ok, but I could not connect to Facebook with the error message : Service not available due to network interference, try to contact samsung but not reply. other than that, it is a good Tv . tjani
The TV produces a good image - perhaps the best at this price point but I would not say it is much better than LED LCDs. The 3D works well. You also get a nice little remote with a keyboard on the back. The TV allows you to record programs to an external drive and you can also watch movies through a second drive. It all works well, no freezes and picture quality is good. The TV is also quite light. There is Smart TV built in, which means you can browse the internet on the TV plus use some Samsung apps.
The minor hiccups are:
1. The TV sound is tinny. There is not enough bass. My old Sony LCD was better.
2. The TV guide takes a while to load up and also scrolling through the program guide causes annoying pauses.
3. Applications are good but not great. They take a while to load up.
4. Recording feature is good but because the TV has only one tuner, you cannot watch a different channel whilst recording.
5. If you are watching a movie from the hard drive, you cannot record TV to the primary drive.
6. You must format an external hard drive before the TV will record to it. You cannot record TV to a normally formatted ex-FAT, NTFS or FAT32 drive.
7. I think you can't watch recorded TV from the external hard drive on a computer either.
8. The TV sorts movies on the hard drives by capital letters first and then non-capitals. Movies spelt with Capital letters show up first in the list. A very annoying feature.
9. If you have a movie with dual languages, I haven't been able to figure out how to change the sound track.
10. You cannot delete movies on the hard drive by using the TV. You can delete TV programs you recorded on the specially formatted drive.
Is it good value for money? Yes. Would I buy it again? Yes, though I probably wouldn't bother with the apps and web browser functionality. So, I might get a bigger plasma TV instead, without the web browser stuff.
I wish it had a twin tuner and allowed me to change soundtracks. Lloyd
