Smart Energy Saving
LG's 2009 range of flat panel televisions incorporate Smart Energy Saving technology. These functions, if chosen, allows users to minimise power consumption compared to normal operating options.
The Backlight control function controls the brightness of the TV allowing adjustment for brightness better suited for the viewing environment. The Screen off function lets you switch off the screen while keeping the sound or music alive. Stand by Mode 0 function switches your TV to a power saving mode where zero electricity is used.
