I have the 500Gb model and it's great. I love been able to record 2-shows at once and the skip ad feature makes it easy to watch my shows more easily. Pros: 500GB, that is a lot of recording time. The unit itself is smart looking and it fits in well with my other boxes. The wifi is good so I don't have have cables running everywhere. The setup is really easy and the free IceTV subscription for 3-months is really good. I noticed on their site that if you have a humax you can get their lifetime icetv for $99 extra. I'm definitely going to get this once my free subscription comes to an end. The cons: I don't have any at the moment. I'm loving it. I can watch record my shows and watch them later. Overall, I recommend it.

I chose the Hymax HDR-7500T after reading many reviews of the various PVR's currently on the market. I was not disappointed with my choice. Unfortunately, the first model I received was faulty. It refused to connect to my home network and the firmware could not be upgraded. Thanks to swift action from Bigbrownbox, it was replaced within two days. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the replacement Hymax. The firmware upgrade was quick and easy, setting up the unit was a breeze, as was connecting to the internet via my wireless modem. Programming the machine is straightforward and playback is crystal clear. The ability to jump ads is a bonus. Another bonus was the HDMI cable that is included in the box. The only downside is the range of the wireless dongle. A distance of 8 metres is about all you can expect.
